I started with two plastic charms and created a silicon mold. I cast both charms in the mold, filed them down and painted them both with silver black tarnish to “age” them.
Simple, simple, simple! I cut two rectangles, pressed with a piece of a rubber stamp mat, cut a hole with a coffee-stirrer straw and voila! Finished with silver black tarnish to emphasize design.
The pendant has a clear cubic zirconium with a rather funky bezel made with a few rounds of clay pressed out of a syringe. The pattern is from a metal texture plate. The bead was formed around a somewhat wonky-shaped cork clay. I decorated it with a star and a few lines made with the syringe to cover some of the flaws.
