I got this great coral-colored cardigan with big black buttons, which I was wearing a lot, usually with a black turtleneck. It needed some embellishment, so here’s what I came up with. January, 2006: My first attempt at polymer clay on my own. I just rolled out some Sculpey, cut some stars, embossed some textures, and played around with Pearlex, all new experiences for me. I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with these.
That same day, I had a bit of conditioned clay left, so I thought I’d make some buttons and highlight them with a bit of silver Pearlex.
