Special Note to Beginning Teachers

Following my classroom-teaching days, I coordinated a graduate intern program for first-year teachers. It was wonderful work, and newcomers to the profession will always have a special place in my heart.

Most of the information in the grade-level sections (accessed from the home page or from the links at the bottom of this page) will address questions and issues relevant to beginning teachers. This little corner of the Web site exists to acknowledge and accommodate the special needs you may have as you enter (or return to) this profession.
