New URLs

Having a hard time finding a page you bookmarked?

I’ve had a chance to step back and look at the architecture of this site and noticed some serious inconsistencies in naming pages (upper and lower case words, for example). I have renamed each page with all lower-case letters for greater consistency and better overall web design.

Since site addresses (URLs) are case sensitive, chances are, if you’re looking for a page for which the URL has changed, such as “...Handouts/Animal.html” as my workshop overheads directed (until Jan. 16, 2004), you’re getting a dreaded “404” error message: “Page not found!” (The new link for this page is now at “...handouts/animal.html.”)

Additionally, there were many pages in a section called “Front_Pages” which, frankly, is a stupid location name (although I swear it made sense at the time). I’ve moved some of these pages into a section called “site” and some into a section marked “jane”.

Making changes to a site is always a dangerous undertaking with a somewhat-established site. Obviously, this all would have been avoided had I set this up correctly in the first place, and with the current reorganization and improved consistency, I hope to not ever have to do this again.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for, try typing the link into your browser with all lower case letters. Or you can go back to my home page and start with the links there. Or you can call me (1-800-688-1960/505-323-9044) or contact me via email and I will let you know where your page has moved.

Thanks for your patience.
