About Eric Katz, MSAC:Eric D. Katz MSAC, is a psychotherapist in private practice and a New York State Certified School Counselor. He has served as vice president for secondary level school counselors for the New York State School Counselor Association. Mr. Katz is a consultant to the College Board's Equity and Excellence Program and has conducted counselor trainings across the United States. He along with Dr. Carol Dahir coauthored the advanced series of school counselor workshops for the College Board's Pathways to Excellence Program. Mr. Katz has facilitated various workshops for The New York State School Counselor Association, The New York State Department of Labor, The Department of Social Services, The Orange County Private Industry Council and various community organizations. Mr. Katz is also a contributor the book, Creating Emotionally Safe Schools, by Jane Bluestein PhD. Eric and Jane are working together to co-author a new book, entitled, High School is Not Forever!
